In real life, the pirates were not that fun to deal with.
The film have of curse made them a lot different.
Some pirates are real famus for their croulty, and here
are some of the worst in history.

BLACKBEARD




Edward Teach  better known as Blackbeard, was a notorious English pirate
 who operated around the West Indies and the eastern coast of the American colonies
He lived 1680-1718, and they say he got his name for his long black beard, and he
was reported to have tied lit fuses under his hat to frighten his enemies.

HENRY MORGAN

Henry Morgan lived 1635 - 1688. Henry Morgan earned fame and respect
among his friends and enemies alike thanks to his successful  attacks on
Wilahermosa (Mexikan provinse) and Gran Granada (silver mining in Niquaragua)

ANNE BONNY

Anne Bonny was born 1697 (they think) and no one knows for how long she lived.
Facts and legend are hard to seperate in the case of Anne Bonny. But they know she
was a strong and independent woman who was long ahead of her time.
She was on the sea pirating with first James Bonnie, but when he bacame an
iformer, she run away with the pirate Calisto Jack Rackham.

BARTHOLOMEW ROBERTS

Bartholomew Roberts aka Black Bart lived 1682 -1722.
He is famous for beeing very succesful as a pirate.
He was also know for beeing invincible, and people were chocked when he was gone,
and many historians think that with him gone it was  the end of the Golden Age of Piracy
