This page is for the memory of our wonderful friend Gallos

We lost our wonderful friend Gallos in october 2011. It was a terrible lost, and
we alomost felt like putting our horse intressed aside, and not having a horse again.
But now we can look back and remember him with love and happines.
Here is a little about our first and deep loved horse Gallos.

He was a Swedish halfblood and 16 years old in July 20 2011
After riding Gallos and meeting him several times, togehter with a girl who both me
and Lovisa trust to bee very good at horses, hi finally arrived to our stable at June 18 2007
We know since before that Gallos was the leeder of his former heard, so we guessed it was going
to be a ruff time for all the horses to learn to go together. And it was. After a week, Gallos took one
of the mares for himeslf, and by doing that, he splitted the old heard. Soon he was the leader, and the
other horses accept him as the new leader in the stable.

Gallos had a very nice temper. He was a kind a generous horse, with a winning a personal manor.
Both taking care of him on the ground, and riding him was a pleasure, and we were so very happy for him.
Before Gallos came to us, he was living with a family, were a young and great riding girl used him for jumping.
But Gallos did not like to compeete, and the girl wanted to continue to compete in jumping.
So that´s the reason we had the chanse to buy him. And for that we are very happy.
Both me and my daughter Lovisa were riding him, and did build up a strong friendship
between us and this horse :O)

After living with Gallos for nearly two years, we  started to know him real well. He was the most polite
horse we have ever met. He was a little tuffer with me, but when Lovisa sat down in the saddle, he treated her like
a little prinsess. He could get a real hot temper somethime, and you had to ride him properly to get the best
out of him. He did often great us loudly when we arrived to the stable. Even if he was in or outdoor.
Hi was little candylover, and it was hard not to spoil him. But he was also a big horse, and we had to train him
a lot to not let him take over. We were so in love with him, and are very thankful that it was
us who Amanda and Yvonne choosed to sell to.

Now our Gallos are gone, and we are sooo grateful that we had this time with him.
He was such a wonderful and social horse, and it was hard to let him go.
He was sick, and his stomack did give him so much pain.
We humans must know when to let go of our animals, and realeas them from their pain.
We miss him so much.
